A safe & confidential online platform where Young People can access Support & Live chat with SAL practitioners.
Talk to SAL is a new service that has been designed to support young people in Stoke on Trent and the surrounding areas.
This new confidential service provides a range of online support including; anonymous live chat, advice & information about Healthy relationships, consent, staying safe online, peer pressure, gender & sexuality as well as additional practical support, signposting, resources and more.
What can I chat about?
You can talk to us about problems or anxiety in your relationships. This can be about your friends, family, people at school, boyfriend/girlfriend/partner or anybody else.
You can talk to us if you are feeling pressured into something you’re not comfortable with or if you’re unsure about consent or if you are concerned about somebody else.
We do not provide sex education.
You can talk to us if you are struggling with gender / sexuality or if you are being bullied or are concerned about any other issues around these topics.
You can talk to us if you’re concerned about your own or someone else’s behaviour online. Or if somebody is being inappropriate towards you.
You can talk to us if you need some support looking for and trying out things to help you cope.
You can talk to us if you have ever experienced or are concerned about any form of sexual violence. This includes: sexual harassment (including bullying comments about your body or sexual activity), sexual assault, sexual abuse, rape, stalking, exploitation, being pressured or threatened into sexual activity or sending nudes, forced marriage and many others.
